Los Angeles-based Jeff Rechner is now in his fourth decade in the voiceover and entertainment industry (taking time out for bathroom breaks, of course). Jeff is a movie trailer voice, the promo and imaging voice for television and radio stations across America and around the world, as well as commercial voiceover artist, narrator and animation voice for a variety of projects. He is also an on-camera host, comedy writer, and a former play-by-play man and radio host who just couldn't handle hearing Dexy's Midnight Runners one more time.
A little history…

Jeff was the original afternoon host for the original JACK FM, the radio format that swept North America (but only had a handful of on-air personalities, including Rechner), and has been a morning man in Vancouver and Tokyo. Somewhere in somebody's old videocassette collection (likely Jeff's) also lies prospective material for blackmailing purposes: Jeff wore really cheesy clothes in hosting the family game show "Generation Gap", which ran nationally in Canada on the YTV Youth Television Network in the early 90's.
Having grown up playing hockey, Jeff moved into the sport in a professional realm in 1992 when he became the inaugural play-by-play voice of the Western Hockey League's Red Deer Rebels. Once he left, they got good and won the CHL Championship (thanks boys!).
In 1996, Jeff departed for a two-year radio stint in Tokyo, which also included a busy voiceover schedule of national spots, including the infamous Toyota "Made In (sic) Earth" campaign, and the immortal "Tsukiri Kaori? It's Light Feeling? Bud Light". Huh?

Today, from his home studios in Los Angeles, Jeff is showcasing his talents on movie trailers, TV and radio stations around the world, commercial campaigns, documentary and corporate narrations, animation projects, and frankly, anything else that pays money for opening one's mouth and making noise. He and his wife Marzia and their 9-year-old son Sebastian now spend their spare time picking up and/or spreading Lego across the family room, while still attempting to pry themselves apart after that ill-fated experiment with Krazy Glue.

“Jeff is a real pro. He always gives us quality work – and fast! Plus, he does a great ‘Dracula!”
